Doula Mentorship Program

“Are you a new or aspiring birth doula? Are you wondering how to get your business off and running with a great start? With this mentorship program you have the opportunity to learn from Sarah, an experienced birth doula who has run a successful doula business for 10 years, attending over 400 births. Get your business off to an incredible start, boost your confidence and learn skills from one of the busiest and successful doulas in the area.”

• Access to Sarah 24/7 for questions, resources, business advice, etc.
  Guidance in creating forms, contracts, etc.
• Become a pro at interviewing with potential clients
• Learn how to respond to client questions and concerns
• Participate with Sarah in prenatal and postpartum visits
• Attend births with Sarah, learning hands on skills, when/how to step in and help, what to say and how to phrases things with clients, medical staff, etc.
• Attend approximately 2 births per month with Sarah
• Debrief with Sarah after each birth to learn more in depth about particular situations and scenarios

• 12 month commitment to attend interviews, prenatal visits, births and postpartum visits with Sarah (an average of 1-2 appointments per week and 2 births per month). Mutual dates to be agreed upon but it is important that you have a very flexible schedule with reliable childcare (if needed). This program will run approximately from May 2020 to May 2021.
• Take this mentorship seriously, being respectful of Sarah’s time and the client’s time.
• Must be able to keep strict confidentiality in regards to the client.
• Fee is $1200. Payment arrangements of $100/month are acceptable for a full 12 month commitment.

• Sarah will email you once she has received your application and will schedule a day to meet with you. You will then be notified if you have been selected as Sarah’s new mentee. Be ready to start client interviews and appointments very soon!
